I bought a 2000 lb teardrop camper but now am told that it's difficult if not impossible to install
a brake controller because of the unique wiring, specifically no "cold wire" on the brake light switch.
The dealer told me that Lexus does not make a controller for this model. I have a Class III trailer hitch
receiver and there are various kits available to hook up the lighting but nothing for a brake controller.
Will be traveling in the mountains so that's a must.
Some controller instructions say they'll work IF the vehicle's tow package includes a 7 way connector.
Mine has the tow package, does anyone know if it has a 7 way connector and where it's located?
No luck searching online for that info.
Any experiences or help appreciated.
