Our 2005 RX330 experienced near total steering lock-up this week. The vehicle has 93,330 miles, is garaged kept
and has never been in an accident. Lexus could not find any recalls on this, but offered to diagnose for $150.00.
I took it to my reputable repair shop , they didn't charge me diagnosis. They found that the lower steering knuckle
had failed, and was causing a complete drag on steering operation. Of course you could only get the part from Lexus.
Long story short,$613.00 repair bill, car is back to normal. Thanks Lexus.
