Yeah, I've found out they are interference engines. all this talk of of non-interference is airy fairy at best! Firstly all timing belt lists say 4-0 litre V8 is interference and secondly Ive just had a seized water pump , which overheated the belt & snapped the teeth of the cogged belt! All over Red Rover, we now have bent valves. And the wife wasn't racing or pulling hard at the time either.
