Had the same issue. Replaced the drivers side coil closest to the radiator - fine. Havent used a MAF in over a year. Sounds like a hot-rod just camming . Crazy. Everyone wants to know what I have done to it; absolutely nothing ! Disconnected my MAF and played with the TPS... and all my friends admire my car because of the way it sounds. I guess "basic" programming took over and wouldn't change it for the world!
