check VSC LIGHT IS ON

My is250 wouldn't start today and the brake pedal was extremely hard to press. After about 10 min. of trying to push start the car it finally started. I've had the CHECK VSC and ABS LIGHT on for about 2 weeks. Is there anything else I can do before I have to take it to the dealer??

Today my is250 wouldn't start and the brake pedal was extremely hard to press. After almost 10 min. of pressing the pedal and trying to push start it finally started. Does anyone know what the problem is? Also ABS, check VSC light is on.
