I use every products from surf city garage. For the leather seats etc..i clean everything with dash away. Wfor the leather seats voodoo leather of surf city garage. You gotta do something for the leather if not in 5 years it is scratchy and dry. I dont care about the manual. If you have sun blocker spots on your plastic you won't get that away with warm water and soap.

Can anybody tell me the size of the brake discs and the brake pads of the is 350 awd. Is there a difference between us and canada spec ? I want to put on ebc brakes when the originals are gone.

I understand that. My brother in law from the dominican republic bought 4 lbs sausages here currywurst and a type of sausage called Lyoner that is still famous where i live and brought it back. And niw every time i go to the dominican now it is not "bring me clothes or jordans" now it is " bring me sausages". I love Hamburgers and american food, but the german currywurst is unique the taste of it. Hopr to get the moneyback, got a credit now about 12000 dollars just for the reparation and the lawyer. It takes about a year to go to the court here.

Hey james did you enjoyed germany ? My is 350 is now runnin without problems.The last diagnostic report after 900 miles is positive. No errors no updates and now i need 1 liter less gas then befor now it runs with 10,7 litera in 100km.

Yes i got it washed ;-) and a free coke and a coffee. This lexus dealer is very very good. And all normal parts are cheap.a new programmed key for example just for 200 euro. I live near the air base in Ramstein, Kaiserslautern. Far away from Berlin. 8 hours in the car, sorry to far away for a visit, or you come down and we do dominican barbeque with my family

So now 1 positive news i will get the car back repaired on wednesday. I have ro pay 9000 euro for all. Then i have to go to the court soon to get my money back from the bad dealer. No good story til now with my is 350

Yes it is just the unit. The head mechanic told me that thos unit is like the brain of the car. It manages the music, the navigation, the radio, the usb, aux, digital diameter etc. Have to wait what the lawyer will tell me the next week. I wanna get my car back as soon as possible.

So now the Lexus runs again. The main unit had a defect. The mechanic says seems that the dealer where i bought it did something wrong to the software and he reprogramed the navigation system i have qll the diagnostic reports. The first one with the broken unit don't shows the navigation system in the diagnostic report. The second report shows the navigation system with the new main unit in the diagnostic report. So on monday it is on to go to a lawyer because the seller, a import dealer, don' t answer the post cards, email, calls etc. And there is a bill to pay about 8700 euro, something like more than 9000$. And that bill i won't pay for a car with one year warranty. Until i don't got the OK from the lawyer i can't take the car outta the lexus shop. I don't know who people like the seller of the is can sleep good at night, sellin a car to a family with 3 kids with such a lot of problems and defects. Hope to get outta that problem without payin the bill.

Could not be true that the navigation system of imported cars wont work over here. Thousansmds of us cars are driving around here, dodge, ford, also imported lexus that work. I just can wait what's going on the next week.

I dont know what happened to the card, the dealer said bought it without it. But that is not possible that the car can just work with the original card and not with a new one. Or you can reprogram the new card to the car and thr navigation system, if thar is not possible that will be my last lexus. No Bmw or mercedes i had had such a problem with the navigation system. I am sad about that. I will wait for the next and see what happened if my dealer has the new unit at the shop. But there can ve the next problem, the german law says that the dealer where i bought it has to fix my car but he don't have to use new parts, and if the navigation unit or the card cannot be reprogrammed, so in this way the car never can be used again without using a new unit woth new sd card. Oh 900 dollars is a lot, but lexus likes to steal the money from us here in germany, if you are not a Millionair you cant do a big service with changing all brake pads and discs, i had a example for my old gs 450h here at the official lexus station about 2000 euro. So i do the service at lexus but parts and everything i go to a free mechanic becauae dont want to give all my money to lexus.

I know but my head mechanic told me because of the bus error he cant reload the newest software on the car and cant install the new sd card. The sd card which came with the car i don't have and the guy where i bought it also don't have it. My mechanic ordered a new navigation radio unit to check out if that is the problem. I bought a new sd card for my car for 900 dollars herer at the dealer and the car won't read it. Fu.k.

Damn a lot of problems with my is 350 right now. I have a error with the can bus system. My dealer told me maybe the navigation radio unit could be have a problem because it dont work. 7000 dollars will the unit cost. That has to be a joke, the car is a 2014 with 15k mol s on it. I checked the car at a mechanic before i bought it, also carfax is clean. Salvage title about 2000 canadian dollars, not much. But the electric you cant see before. Maybe i have to contact a lawyer because the guy where i bought it is not really interested in fix my car and dont spend a lot of time gettin contact with my lexus dealer. I own the car 7 weeks and the car is 3 weeks at the lexus shop, climate, radio, navigation, 7" inch monitor don`t work. What a f..k.

I have the number 86272-78011. The car is produced says the sign on the door 11th 2013 Model 2014. The shop where i bought it sayd its the right card. My dealer told me every card can be activated just in only one and the same vehicel where the card is inserted for the first time. Is that true? TThe hungarian guy told me he cant help me with this problem. Actually i dont care about the navigatuin system, i just want that my is 350 in the inside has his function as usual. All the military lexus over here are runnin without these problems. My car is not specially for europe, lexus dont sell the is 350 awd and rwd in europe. The car was delivered 2014 first to canada.

I bought a used lexus micro sd card for my is 350 awd. I inserted it, but the car won`t read it. It says cant read program consult to a dealer. Is it true that i need a new micro sd card to get the navigation syatem work? The head mechanic of the lexus military sales here told me that ever lexus has his own programmes micro sd when it gets out the fabric. And you can just use the lexus with this micro sd card, or buy a brand new one, which when you insert it the first time geta programed and coded by the car to use just in exactly this car. Is that true ?

If the gs 450h S19 is not limited at 250km per hour it runs definitly more than 300km per hour, a friend of mine also owns one that ia not limited. I did not modificate anything, i just pressed buttons sport mode, hybrid Power mode and gear in manual number 5, than paddle down and running.

I have a lot of districts here where is no limit in mileage ;-) so it is bad that the is 350 :-) just runs 230 kmh limited. My gs 450h was opened, he was running 303kmh. But there was no hybrid saving effect ;-) but without wife and kids sometimes i let it burn on the autobahn, when i am in my house in the dominican republic i also let run my toyota supra 1996.'but the streets are almost very bad.

Thats correct. In the city i need near 13 Liter s. On the autobahn, yours highway, i need like 8-9 litres by 120 kilometers per hour. So a long ride is more fuel saving than short rides. When i take my boys to the kindergarden the car needs like ferrari for this 2 kilometers.

Now i am at 12 Liters at 100km. But i drive a lot of Autobahn here always with 150km per hour. But it is ok, 2 liters more than my gs 450h. At the moment is bad weather, rainy, snowy, when the summer comes i need more fuel. How many do you need a 100km or 60 miles fuel ? I think the 350 is a very good engine.

Error code is by obd B150 A. 7"monitor, cant get connection to hmi lan. Does anybody know who that is ?

Since 2 days i have a Problem with my 2014/is 350 f sport. when i enter the car it starts reading the main unit. After 2 minutes says cannot read program contact a dealer. Yesterday i was at the dealer for us lexus, he readed the memory, there have been 12 errors in it. He quitted all the errors. Test drive engine start stop everything normal playin music everything. This morning again started the car, starts reading navigation, i think it is this program, stops, cannot read program contact a dealer. I cannot even listen to music, the ac i can use, heated seats everything .I do not have the navigation micro sd inserted in the car when i bought and still dont have it in the car. Is there a needed software on the micro sd card that misses thw car when it starts ? I inserted the europa maps sd card cant read it because it is a us canada spec car. So now i bought on ebay a used sd card for the navigation system. I bought the car 2 weeks ago and didnt have any Problem with it. Does anybody know a solution or have the same Problem? I have no guarantee on this car because it is imported. I really need help.will be thankful for all answers or solutions.

Not really a little bit, maybe when i do more miles with it. Just did 100miles with it. Tomorrow go on a ridd with my wife for 300 miles,maybe its burning free on this ride. But i would never buy it again for that money. If i bought one from japan at the half price i would be have more sound i think. I had a k&n mushroom on my old audi s6 the sound was incredible. Ok the engine also was a v10.
