Thanks for the responses. I did a few things and one of them did the trick.

Hi. The latch on the trunk of my 2007 IS250 won't catch the hook on the bottom because the latch seems to rest in the "open" position instead of the "closed" position. Therefore the trunk does not lock nor stay closed. Any thoughts? Thanks.
