Just got a burned out tail-light on my '03 LS430, and the dealership wants to charge me $80-bucks to replace it!!! In any car I've ever owned, I've replaced my own head/ tail lights. Is it really necessary to have it done at a dealership?? ------------------------------------ -----------------------------------------------------------

You mean you can't just purchase the updated NAV CD and pop it into the CD player and have it upgrade the NAV to current conditions? You must pay the dealership $300?--- for what? To perform what tasks, exactly? -
Got a call yesterday from my Lexus dealership informing me that my 2003 LS430's Lexus Link System is obsolete, can be disconnected, and a placeholder installed in its stead, for free. Question: since we one of the reasons we bought our 2003 LS430 was the LLS, can we force Lexus to replace it with the new system, do you think? If so, how? Was there some fine-print that we missed, telling us that they can modify /delete a service without telling us?
