Thanks for the suggestions. So far, it seems it may be because i was towing too fast and not always out of overdrive...............i'm going to test tow this weekend and will advise, or request more help.........

I purchased my 96 LX450 as a second vehicle for towing use. Not good so far, as when I tow my bass boat, the tranny throws out fluid. No problem when driven without towing. So far, I've flushed the radiator and the tranny cooler. Should I add another tranny cooler? Or buy a beefier truck. Help.

Is it OK to put on a little larger wheels and tires on my LX450? Any suggestions on what may be too large or still OK in a larger size than stock?

I'm a newbie to the Lexus scene. Hoping to add performance via comp. chip, air intake or exhaust. To my suprise, I'm unable to find these items for the LX450. I thought Landcruiser parts would crossover, but those consulted say no. Are there any of these mods available for my 1996 LX450? Thanks!
