  1. This color is amazing - three weeks without washing the 400h and it still looks as if it were washed yesterday! This color hides dirt like a brown carpet!

Has anyone found this to be true of other colors, like Savannah metallic?

Absolute true! My Bamboo Pearl is the best camouflage for dirt I've ever had. Glad I picked it!

  2. I want to buy a blue tooth phone preferably from Cingular with capbilities of downloading outlook stuff etc for my RX330 lexus. Any recommendations/experience.

I have Cingular and just bought the Motorala V3 Razr and it was very easy to connect to the RX330 (I have the 2005 model). The only drawback is that you can only transfer one number from your phonebook to the RX330 at a time. Since I have just a few phone numbers, it's not a biggie for me, but if you're dealing with hundreds of numbers, that could be problematic.

When in the car, the BT connects as soon as the car is turned on and the call instantly transfers. Additionally, I see the bars showing how strong a reception I get. Calls also ring in the car. Just haven't figured out call waiting yet!

Motorola has some software called Mobile Phone Tools that apparently allows synchronization between the phone and Outlook, which would get you the features you mentioned above. I personally have not used this software yet, so I can't speak from experience.

If you go to lexus.letstalk.com, you can see all the phones that Lexus says will connect to the RX330. From there, go to the Bluetooth users guides. In the "transfer numbers to the car" section, they should mention if the phone/car connection supports multiple number being transferred at once, or if it's a one-number-at-a-time thing.

    Hope this helps,

  3. Hi.  I'm new to this forum.  My wife and I are looking to replace her Toyota RAV4 with an RX330.  My question is, is there an option for a third row seat for the 2005 model?  TIA

    Hi there,

I did the same thing: moved from a Rav4 to an RX330. I *love* the RX330 ... you'll have no regrets! I had also considered the BMW X3 and the Acrua MDX, but when it came to amenities and luxury, the RX won hands down.

    Good luck!

  4. Congradulations on your new car.

The bluetooth phone has come up a number of times.

Short answer: The answer keeps changing.

Longer answer: Serveral pst topics in this forum have information.

To find some of the past Topics about phones, goto the bottom

of the forum page and look for a box next to a button labeled "Search Forum"

in it. Put bluetooth phone in the box and click on the button. You will get

list of topic titles. Pick the topics with bluetood phone in the title.

Once you have surveyed todays offerings for phones, please post a reply

    with the current information.

I have already scoured this board for info on bluetooth, but there didn't seem to be any listings specifically referring to AT&T, which is what prompted my post.

There is a pretty neat website that has lots of Q&A for bluetooth and cars, which might be of interest to some: the bluetooth car weblog

    I'll keep checking around.

  5. Hi all,

I am the proud owner (as of last Saturday) of a 2005 RX330. I currently have AT&T cell phone service and I'd like to keep them because of the corporate discounts I receive.

Now, when I go to lexus.letstalk.com, they only have 2 phones listed for AT&T: Nokia 6820 and Nokia 6620.

    My questions:

    - Does anyone else have AT&T and a bluetooth phone that connects to the '05 RX330? If so, what model phone are you using?

    - If you *do* have the 6820, how well does it work?

    - Other than the 2 listed on Letstalk, are there any other AT&T BT phones you know of that will work with the RX330? (I called Letstalk to find out, but phew! What a moron I got on the phone! She thought that "RX330" was a phone model. Sheesh!)

    Thanks!

    Phyl
