I have a new RX330 with the Mark levinson package and I have to say, it seriously sucks. I can't believe it. A 45k car with audio that sucks as bad as it does. There is NO bass on this thing. If I were Mark Levinson, I would be ashamed to put my name on it. I have heard from others that the original with 8 speakers sounds better than the Mark Levinson system with 11 speakers. Don't get the NAV/ML for the audio for sure, but I would not take anything for the NAV system, I love it. It's handy even locally when trying to find somewhere I have never been. RickC

I have to agree. The Levinson stereo is nothing to brag about. It lacks seriously in the bass department.

I have a brand new RX330 FWD. It got 20 Interstate driving to Florida. It got 22 combo, running around in Florida and heading back on the Interstate. Then the next tank got 20 again. I filled up 5 times with about 1500 miles, but had gas when I got home. Each tank was 20mpg except the combo tank which was 22. Now, this car is brand new. It had 300 miles on it when I left for the trip. The mileage isn't what it's rated and I hope that is because it's not broken in. I also drove 80-85 all the way there and back where I could. When I hit the backroads, I drove the speed limits. This vehicle was also loaded with luggage for 4, plus a cargo carrier full. It sagged in the rear is was so loaded, but not sure of the weight. I will try to keep updates ~1800 miles now.... RickC

Well, I bought the car and we love it. Black with Ivory interior, with the Mark Levinson/DVD and rear entertainment system. I love playing with the Nav system, it's way cool.

My dealer wanted 1200.00 plus trading my old wheels to upgrade to a Lexus 18" chrome wheel. I already have 18's on it too. I just want the chrome instead of aluminum. I am having it done through www.wheelconcepts.com in CA instead, at half that cost. For 3900 Canadian, isn't the exchange rate about 60%? So 600.00 from wheelconcepts converted to Canadian would be about a grand? And you get chrome for that..... RickC

If most of your trips are very short, this will dramatically effect mileage. Also, don't rely on the computer. Compute the mileage by dividing the miles driven by the number of gallons it takes to refill the take. My F150 pickup is rated for 15 in town. Most of my trips are only 1-2 miles in length. The truck actually is getting between 11-12. My Jeep Wrangler was rated at 18 in town. It was a 6cyl sport. Making the same short 1-2 miles trips, it got 13 in town. But making 15-20 mile average trips, it got 18 which was what it was rated for. Gas mileage depends on a lot of variables. The distance, how hard you gas it at red lights, (I'm bad for this one) and the amount of stop and go you do. Those posted mileage ratings are an average. If you look at the sticker, it will post the range. RickC

Anyone know if ventvisors are available for the RX? I went to www.ventshade.com, but there was nothing listed for any Lexus. Hoping either factory, although I didn't see any, or some other aftermarket company makes them. Anyone know? Thanks, RickC

Not sure what part of KY you are in, but Lexus of Knoxville has a Silver on Silver fully loaded FWD. MSRP is 45,248.

Do you think that will be a negative toward the car? It being built in Canada compared to Japan? RickC

Hi all, I am new to Lexus, but seriously considering purchasing a RX330. I love the look and the available options on these vehicles. Will you current owners share your opinions on the RX line with me?
