Sorry to sound ignorant, but what's an FM Switchbox?

I just bought a used 1999 RX 300 with 85,000. It's in great condition except that the driver side armrest (for the driver's right arm) is pretty well worn. Does anyone know of a place where I can purchase a replacement? If so, has anyone replaced one of their own? It appears that it would be fairly easy to replace, but would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks
