  1. Thanks for the tips on separating the key halves. Do you know if you have to reprogram the wireless key lock feature after replacing the battery?
  2. Locking or unlocking using the key remote is inconsistent. I find that I have to approach the driver side at the side window level to get it to activate. This is leading me to believe that the battery in the key needs to be replaced. First, is there a battery in the key? I removed the screw at the shank of the key to gain access. The halves do not come apart even after applying moderate pressure by sliding a thin screwdriver around the edge. After reading other posts about replacement keys, I do not want to create more problems and expense by damaging the key. Second, What is the trick to gaining access to the battery? Thank you.
  3. My glove box light does not come on when the headlight switch is on, which I understand is a requirement. I searched for bulb access and also the knowledge base for tips but to no avail. Where is the bulb located, what is the model and type and how do you access it for replacement? Thank you!
