  1. Hey, problem is solved. No chime since putting in washer fluid. Sort of perplexed why the dealership had no clue until I realized that the cars they see are typically under warranty and are newer and they probably make it a point to check washer fluid levels during maintence so they never really see the issue. Thanks again all. John.
  2. Thanks everyone for your help. I will let y'all know if it stops now that I have the fluid reservoir full. John
  3. Hi, Thank you very much for the reply. I just filled up the washer fluid reservoir but have not taken it for a "spin". It must have been pretty empty because it took about a gallon it seems. This is a new problem that as I think about it, didn't start until I had a new battery put in by AAA. He put some electronic gizmo on the the fuse panel before he changed the battery. He said he was doing that because he said that if take a battery out the lost of charge will sometimes cause problems with the sensors. I will see if the add to the washer fluid fixes it. This car has 89k miles on it and I am the original and only owner. I treat it like a baby, even use amsoil 0/30 synthetic oil. Thank you for your help! John PS As far a a warning goes, i am always alone in the car and I suspect the view of the light if it comes on is block by the steering wheel spokes. If filling fluid doesn't stop it I may get someone to ride with me to watch the dashboard to see if a light comes on.
  4. Indigo sun, I I just developed the same problem. Did you ever figure out what it was? Numb nuts at the Lexus dealership have no clue. Thanks
