honestly if you would have asked me before you had bought the car, i would've told u not to buy it. too many frustrating problems and im sick and tired of Lexus and Toyota horrible cars and just too expensive to fix defs not worth the buy. advise you sell and buy an acura tl or nissan maxima. thats what im doing

hey guys first id like to say this might be a little long, please read along and give me your best opinion on what i should do. ill start of by saying that i bought the car 2 months ago. i had check engine light on with trac off light on and thought i could fix it. I had the codes p0171 bank 1 and 2, p0330( knock sensor), and p0330( knock sensor). when i got it, car was driving smoothly but wouldnt shift to overdrive(4th gear) and my gas mileage was horrible. so i fixed the knock sensor at my mechanic a few weeks ago. Now it shifts in 4th gear, so im saving alot of gas but the lights turned 100km after the mechanic fixed it. I went and got the codes checked again, only got 1 code now p0171 bank 1 and 2. i searched online and it said clean mass airflow sensor,so i cleaned it and it worked pretty good. kept the light off for 200 km, then they came back and cleaned it again and it worked fine for about a week.yesterday though i was driving home and my car was idleing very sluggish i drove for like 10 seconds and the check engine light was FLASHING now( never seen it flash before) and trac off was on too but wasnt flashing .also it wouldnt go past 3000rpm, and when i let go of the gas pedal car decelerates fast. luckly i got home cleaned the Mass airflow again and it works good now. im so confused on what going on, and everytime the lights come on i get stressed out. ive been researching but i cant find a solution to my problem. so what should i do? have you guys expierenced problems like mine? i was thinking of buying a new MAF sensor, but ive spent over 1000 dolalrs already on this car and i ive only owned it for 2 months. comments are deeply apreciated, thank you

hey guys. i just bought a new 2000 lexus es300 like 2 weeks ago exact. check engine, trac off light were on and i thought no biggie because it was gives the codes for failed knock sensor, i also had no overdrive so the rpm was always high on the highway. i had codes p0171, p0325, and p0330. so i went a grabed 2 knocksors, and a intake manifold gasket.sounds good right..... well aparently the mechanic fixed it but when i test drove it before i paid him, the car was 10 x worse. symtoms i never experienced before the mechanic changed the knock sensors. the car wont even drive past 3000 rpm even when i floor it, it hesitates. i tried and tried but it would barely move. it like theres barely any acceleration. did the mechanic mess up my car? or did forget a step when replacing my knock sensors? the mechanic said hed check it out monday, im extremely *BLEEP*ed off at him because i really think he messed up my car. what should i do guys think??

wow i cant believe i can finally say i own a lexus, so sweet, im sick and tired of the civics, and nissans that owned presviously. any ways today i went and gripped myslef a 2000 lexus es300 beatiful car inside out. there is damage on the hood and fender which i find no biggie to get fixed, as i know a guy, who knows a guy sort of type of thing. but the one problem was when i was testing it. the car didnt want to rev past 4000 rpm on park. i thought this is normal that lexus would make sure they had a special sensor so that the engine wouldnt get damaged, which would be awesome. . but im hearing mixed anwsers around the net. is this normal??? also is it normal the the rear lights work only at night ???
