  1. I have owned a few ls400's over the last 20 years and lucas power steering fluid has definitely worked on mine. I don’t perform a full flush, but remove as much fluid as possible from the reservoir and replace it with the thick lucas fluid and that noisy groaning stops. I haven’t uses any other lucas product but this has worked great for me for years.
  2. It turned out to be a small piece of metal about the size and shape of a staple. Went to the junk yard and found an overdrive button assembly in a (Toyota) shifter. I took it apart and it had a staple that was missing on mine. (have no idea where the old one went, but it was small to begin with, so I suppose I’ll never find the 2 broken pieces) I swapped out the staple into the Lexus overdrive assembly, and it worked great.
  3. I have a '92 sc400. The overdrive button failed and wont stay in the engaged (overdrive on) position. Any ideas on a fix or replacement for this?...
  4. I don't know if this will help much since its for the ls 400 but i may have some usefull information: http://www.lexls.com/head_unit.html
  5. the am reception is terrible. I like to keep up with my sports teams and am is the place. i have been told it may be the head unit...antenna seems to work ok. any suggestions?
