  1. I am using a six channel input five channel output Alpine V12 amp to power all of my cerwin vegas. I have 2 12" in my trunk and have found that having smaller boxes makes a more accurate base. I have the subs facing up angled about 15 towards the cabin. Sounds very good in the front, but too much base in the back (nobody ever sits in the back, though).
  2. I use Cerwin Vega Plate components in the front and 6" vegas in the back. Both sets are HED and are driven by a six channel Alpine V12. Also driving 2 12" subs in the trunk with the stock woofer removed. sounds awesome. Had to seperate the tweeter from the midrange in the front so I could put the tweeter in the top of the door. It is truly one of the best systems I have ever heard (I spent over 30 hours installing everything perfectly). Has 3 Farad capacitor and monster cable throughout. Spent about $2400.00 on parts and did the install myself. Worth every penny. Unfortunately, now I can't afford to upgrade the engine except for a K&N.
  3. The rattling noise you are hearing is not from the wood panel, but from the metal door release latch lever behind the panel. Take off the door panel (instructions can be found in the forum) and look at the metal cutout that screws onto the back of the door handle release. The ?three? bolts there are more than likely loose. I had the same problem and this was what was rattling. I also superglued all the screws in my door frame and then sound deadened the panels while I had them out. Since the doors in the SC are so large, the sound deadening REALLY helps make the car even quieter.
