Just got my 04 GX470
And for the first three days, the remote key for the door was not working, I figured should be the battery run flat.
So I went to the radioshock and changed the battery, it was still not working, so I guessed it maybe broken,
Let a Toyota dealder check the key (just check the key since it's free), said the key is working.
If I wang them to inscept the car , it's gonna take me 120 usd,

Amazing things happened, the remote key start working a few days after changing the battery.

It quits working again this morning....

is it a switch inside the vechile that allow the remote key to open the door?
Should I pay the dealer to do a inspect? Or is it a simple problem that I can find out myself?
What is the worst case?. How much I will need to fix it?
