I recently purchased my son a used 2001 RX300 it only have 80k and I thought it was a good deal, we had it less than a month and the display screen when blank one day, it was blank the radio was still playing you just could not adjust the volume or change the station. I disconcerted the battier hoping to reset something and all would come back. It did not work; in fact the radio quit play as well. I call the dealer I bout it from and he had his guy look at it and told me the screen was out, it $1200. I found one online for $280 with a 1 year warranty. I took it to be installed only to find out it’s not the screen, and was told it the controller for the screen, however nobody including the Lexus part guy know what part that is? Does anyone know what this part is or what is causing this problem or have a wiring Diagram from the display screen?
