  1. I'm talking about the wires that go to the connectors on the motor cover brackets, I'm assuming these are grounds? I've never seen grounds like this, must be something new. Assuming these are grounds, would it be ok to clip the lines, solder some standard ring terminals, and bolt them down? The reason I ask is first, I'm not positive these are grounds, I haven't seen grounds like this and second, I don't want to upset the ecu.. I don't know how sensitive it is
  2. remove the driver's side cover, look behind and beneath the motor oil dipstick. you should see a red handle, that's the transmission fluid dipstick. the handle is fastened with a clip similar to those holding the airbox together, just push down on the end and move it aside, then pull out the dipstick. note: the dipstick is long and it will take some negotiation to put it back in, this is not a big deal.
