Sounds like you need new starter contacts, Same thing happened to me last year. what kind of cost am I looking at? can I replace myself? thanks dcfish!

i've had trouble getting it started for a week now and it seems to be getting worse. Battery tests fine and alternator is good also. I turn the ignition and get just a click. I continue to turn ignition repeatedly and every 8-10 turns it will weakly try to turn over and after some more turns I usually get it to eventually start. Could this be the starter failing? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! It didn't start at all yesterday.

As has been the case for many, my cd changer died(1999 GS 300), I wanted to know what my best and cheapest options are for a new cd player without ordering the factory model? Also what might be my options for mp3 player? I would like to keep the dash look the same but I know that might be an impossibility. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
