What Is The Latest Navigation Dvd?

I'l know for sure in October when I receive mine, but if a Lexus dealer tells you that the settings are retained, I got to believe they have been there done that many many times and it's not going to be a problem :) I don't have my manual handy, can anyone out there give me the quick and dirty on how you actually install the DVD in the car (I have an RX-300). Thanks.
