I am waiting delivery of a 2011 RX350 and considering the trailer hitch option (for motorcycle trailer with electric brakes). The dealer is quoting $843 instal which seems very pricey versus the online price for a Curt Class III hitch, $163 without instal. (This price excludes the brake controller and seven way wiring connector. The dealers selling point is the Lexus hitch is low profile and looks cleanest on the vehicle. Is this fact or fiction? and is it worth the price difference? Feedback?
