    you said you dont have to remove the EGR, but in one of your pics i see it taken off from the upper EGR two bolts.  Do you just have to remove the bolts to make it loose?

  2. i have a 95 LS400- the wheel shakes at 50+mph.

    i checked all joints, the strutrod busings look worn. theres also play at 3 and 9 position when i have the wheel jacked up.

    i put some pressure with a bar on the strut rod and has some play to it. what is the best option replacing the entire rod or pressing in new bushings?

  3. I would like to know more of why you decided to check in the first place. Dead battery after just one day... one week? And is the CD changer/radio stock or aftermarket? Any 'mods' lately?

    my car would die after sitting 3-4 days. Car is all stock, stereo changer is stock.

  4. i have a battery drain, ive check my alternator ps fluid leak etc all is good there.

    i put a meter to the battery and got the following readings:

    0.18 amp

    radio fuse pulled it read 0.05

    does the CD changer eject button suppose to work while key is out/car is off?

  5. i dont know, the belt has a lot of push back to it.

    this all happened when i left the car sitting for about a week and it wouldnt start. i then jump started it and put the meter to it. With the headlights on the meter dropped a bit. The belt does not squeal heavily, i would sometimes barely squeal for a few seconds on some starts.

    alternator was replaced 4-5k miles ago.

  6. my drive belt on my 95 ls400 seems to be a bit loose. When i press down on it with my finger the belt moves quite a bit.

    The belt condition is fine.

    im only getting about 13.5 volts when motor is running. is it the tensioner? or ilder pulley?

  7. my dome light, courtesy lights over brake pedal and ignition key ring wont light up when i open the doors. The door open indicator on the dash works. The dome light turns on when the switch is turned manually to the ON position.

    its a 95 LS400.

    all fuses look good.

  8. 95 LS, i have a exhaust leak at the joints after the cat on both sides. Its leaking at the joint/gasket area. Wondering if i should remove the piping and put in new gaskets or use some cement, exhause sealer.

    What do you guys recommend?

  9. It could well be an ABS problem check the wheel sensors and the wiring to them it could be damaged and shorting out when the steering is on full lock,you could also do a code read for possible stored codes.

    you mean obd code scanning? i ran obd scan there are no codes. i guess ill check the abs wire, there are no abs lights.

  10. 95 LS400 i have this strange pulsing thumping vibration on full left turns at low speeds. In parking lots. Almost like the abs is pumping sort of vibration.

    i jacked the car and inspected for loose parts, nothing. Theres no play/shake in the wheel. Lugs are tight, front lower ball joints were done about 10k miles ago. Power steering system was done by dealer. tie rod has no play, CV boot looks sealed no cuts.

    i dont get it.
