Hi, I have a Lexus RX 330 from the year 2006. The issue is that the car believes that the trunk is ajar and makes the beeping noise when I attempt to drive. However, the trunk securely latches, as I can hear it when it closes and I made sure that it is safely shut. The trunk door has power as I am able to open it automatically with my key.
So I guess I am at a loss of what to do. The cause of it may be due to the Lexus being outside over night where temperatures reached around 5 below over last night and we received around 3 inches of snow. The car has been through warmer conditions through out today. I've honestly tried different solutions and I can't seem to fix it and I would rather not have to take it to a Lexus dealership for something that seems so silly.
