  1. Thanks for the reply. I looked at the online manual but found nothing. I'll check my hard copy. Ted
  2. Winter position?? Yes, the blades can park in two positions but calling the upper one "winter" is personal opinion and technique, not something Lexus advertises. The upper lock position allows you to pull the wipers up and away from the glass while you're washing the car (or changing the blades) without the low part of the arm contacting the rear edge of the hood and rubbing/scratching the paint. It's an interesting thought to use that feature in winter, but I kept mine down through 2 winters here in Dayton OH with no problems. Obviously, the previous owner of my '10 350 kept them in the down position because I will have to get some touch up paint to fix the marks from the wipers on the hood edge. I will be moving mine to the up position. Nice to know. Thanks. How do you adjust them ? Recently my wipers stopped parking all the way down. I'm wondering if this is the problem. Thanks, Ted
  3. Hi everyone, Two GS300 questions today. The first is a brake question. My 98 recently started leaking brake fluid. I took it to a Lexus repair shop and they told me that three O rings needed to be replaced in the master cylinder. They replaced the O rings @ 137.00. I took the car home and it still leaked. I called them back and they told me what I didn't want to hear. The next step would be a new Master Cylinder. I already knew that it is a 1000.00 plus job. I decided to deal with the leak and just add brake fluid. The brake light went on this morning. I added about six ounces of brake fulid and the problem is solved for now anyway. Has anyone here had this problem? The second problem is with the locking steering column. The column locks and the key won't turn in the ignition. Any fix for this. It has never happened to me, but my wife has had it happen several times. I told her that she may have too many keys on her ring. Any help on the issues would be appreciated. Thanks, Ted
  4. Hi All, I'm a new member to your fourm and I'm glad that I found you! I have a 1998 GS300 and a 2007 ES 350. I need help figuring out how to replace my right front turn signal bulb in my GS 300. All that the manual tells you is to take it to your dealer. That's not gonna happen if I can help it. The cost would be way out there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ted
