yea i know where the obd2 plug is thanks :) and yes it seems odd that during the day the car will give me this problem and not at night. its something ive never seen before.. will check what ya posted and get back to you... thanks for the help

i didnt fix my car i posted a topic on this issue and no one has replied to it... my topic is called car runs then dies .. its directly under your topic lol... no one is replying to my topic cause they all dont know what the problem is probably... its funny how people on these types of forums only post if they know what the issue is.. they dont try to help at all if they dont know what the issue is... so does ur car run fine at night time? mine seems to drive all night perfect... during the day it shuts off on me then 10 minutes it starts again and will drive fine for another 10 mins just about... my code was p1300.. i changed coil on one.. also have tested fuel pressure thats fine and havee changed igniter.. that was a pricey part 400$ for a part that didnt fix my problem. its almost like a daytime running lights switch is bad or something and the sensor is shutting the car down cause soon as it gets dark my problem goes away.. yet ive looked it up and daytime running lights isnt installed on the 94 ES300.. so im completely stumped.

sounds like the same issue i am having. did u get the codes scanned? and does the car run fine at night.. u should probably check that out also lol

My 94 lexus es300 will shut off after 10 minutes of driving. during the small time when its about to die on me it will misfire and rpm's will drop... then it will catch itself and idle up a few more times then just die. after letting it sit for 5 minutes it will drive again for about 10 more minutes.. However as soon as the sun goes down the car will drive normal without any problems at all. no misfires no hesitation everything fine... no real temperature change from the time the sun is setting till its totally dark but as long as that sun is up the car shuts down.. I had the codes read and P1300 is the code thats getting thrown. changed the igniter.. checked on code and says misfire on bank or cylinder one so i replaced that coil as well.. same problem. any help would be appreciated to get rid of this ghost in my car :)
