Response to jgoodman: Thanks for the pictures and the link to the iPod accessory site. Just how often do you invert your RX??? The RX330 has a different console configuration than you have shown, but there is a great space for the iPod.

I've tried the Sony $19.95 cassette insert. It sounds awful. If anyone knows of a good one, please let me know and I will give it a try.

I would like to find a way to play my iPod while I drive. I have tried a FM transmitter and could not find any frequencies in my area that do not have static, besides it sounds terrible. Has anyone used a cassette adaptor? Is there a way I can run an adaptor plug to my iPod that goes directly into the sound system? My husband had his BMW wired to accept his iPod but is not happy with not being able to control it to find the songs he wants. The sound is great, though. (By the way, I traded in a 2002 BMW 530i for my 2004 Lexus RX330 and I never looked back). I'm calling my Lexus dealer tomorrow to see if they know if this is possible.

When we bought our 2004 Flint Mica RX330 equipped exactly as described last February, the salesman at our dealership--Lexus of Tacoma--told us that there weren't that many Flint Mica RX330's made. Ours was originally promised to someone else, but the salesman got it for us somehow. I love it and the color is out of this world when the sun is shining on it. It's kind of nice to know that I have something rare. Good luck

Does anyone know how to get around agreeing to use the navigation system correctly each time the car is started? We have asked our dealer service people to reprogram the system, but they say they can't due to legal issues. It gets frustrating while running errands to have to agree each time. There are times when I just turn the darn thing off. Other than this, I love my RX 330.
