Actually I had two keys cut to code at my local locksmith. I never duplicate especially on expensive blanks, I learnt my lesson when a locksmith duped a limited edition Nismo key for my other car and stuffed it up (blank key was worth $200). All I had to do was to bring in the code that was recorded in my service manuals and they punched the codes straight into their key cutter (didn't even need my old key).
