Fellow Drivers, Most of my power window switches are failing on my 190K mile 470. The little black plastic rocker caps that engage the "actual" window switch are cracking and breaking at the pivot hole. So in essence 25¢ worth of plastic is about to cost me probably at least $120 per switch to fix. Any way around this other than to replace the entire module or spending hours whittling one out of hardwood? Thanks. -steph

Is the IAC valve on a 2000 LX470 V8 located somewhere reasonable? Mine is causing rough idle and preventing me from getting the vehicle inspected. This is problem is intermittent. Maybe every two months or so it flares up. I just can't see wasting $400-$500 for replacement. I'd rather buy a Springfield XDM40 and box a ammo. A pic or two would be grand. Also what is the difficulty level in pulling it out and cleaning it? Thanks.
