I have the same problem and now that I know I need a new battery, is there anything I should be concerned about when I disconnect the power? Will the computer system need resetting, do I need to have the radio code etc. after installing the battery? Some shops feed power thru the cigarette lighter during installation. Is this necessary?

My 2000 RX300 needs to have front passenger side window controller replaced. Following the Chilton's manual I was able to remove all the fasteners and the door hadle but could not remove the switcth panel located on top of the arm rest. Manual says "pop up the panel" but I didn't want to force it too much. I was afraid that the wood-grained panel would break. Any suggestions?

I am sure this topic has been covered before but I just couldn't find any results. I'm interested in aftermarket CD changer for my 2000 RX300. It came with an AM/FM cassette player (most likely Pioneer). Any ideas?
