I am trying to verify Lexus warranty coverage (parts and labour) on components replaced under Lexus recall campaigns.
Lexus Canada tells me that a component replaced under a recall campaign is warrantied for parts and labour for one year and 20,000 km from date of replacement. The local dealer is telling me this is not the case and that the replaced components are warrantied only as long as the original vehicle warranty. This would be dependent on the component replaced as it could fall under "Comprehensive", "Drivetrain" or "Hybrid Components". Clearly the two sources are contradicting each other and I am trying to get this resolved.
Does anyone have any specific experience with this issue?
