Did you ever get an answer? I have the exact same issue on 2002 ES 300. I was having unrelated shift problem that turned out to be a broken part inside the gear housing. In tryin to diagnose that, I had parts store run the codes, which showed nothing wrong. But immediately after they disconnected the OBD-II code reader the VSC and TRAC OFF lights came on and have stayed on. I want to try the "jump" fix but am not sure it is the same pins on the ES 300...did you ever find out?
Yes, it is the same pins for ES 300. I just did it to my car. Took me a while to replace the O2 sensor which was causing the Check Engine light to turn on.
