If anyone's still reading, this here's an update. I solved my problem and it was pretty easy. I took the motor out of the regulator, left it connected and only ran it in the upward position for 10 or 12 seconds. Reconnected everything and that was it. No more bounce. I had tried the 'running free' method before but I ran it in both directions - up and down. I guess this erased the previous 'set limits'. And I did find out what causes that momentary pause in the motor reacting after holding it in maximum up or down positions. There's built in circuit breakers in the switch which are triggered when the load on the motor reaches a certain limit. They take a few seconds to reset and then the motor works again.

I'm having some classic window issues on my '04 ES330. The left side passenger window's auto feature works going down but bounces back half way down after it goes all the way up. Common problem and I too have tried all the online tips - manually move it up, hold for 5 to 10 seconds and it should readjust. Doesn't work. Plus I noticed, after waiting 10 seconds and releasing the switch and trying to move it manually the motor doesn't respond. But, if I wait 5 seconds then it responds again. I thought the motor might be weak but when it responds it's very strong. I tried the same technique on the opposite door and same results - pause then it responds. And that window is not having any issues with the auto feature. What's happening? Any ideas? And, just wondering, where is the pinch sensor that makes it bounce back? I'm pretty sure it's not in the switch because I have an extra switch and it does the same thing. None of those videos talk about that. I'm guessing it has to be in the motor's wiring? Thanks for any help.

Hello, If you're still looking, I found a solution. I, like you, have searched for months for a solution. Every other rubber bushing on the GS300 is offered by the aftermarket, but not this one. The reason being this is not a rubber bushing. It's what's called a pillow bushing( or rose joint in England), similar to a small ball joint. There are a few racing websites that offer replacements but they're very expensive. I found this on the British Ebay site; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=190375903825 I called him this morning and he's very knowledgable about these bushings. His is nylon and outlasts the original by far. I'm going to order some today.
