well the clutch jus went out in my sc300 a few days ago........bought a new one for $187. im gonna put it in myself this weekend and was wondering if anyones put one in and how hard of a job this is goin to be. if anyone has any tips or advice id sure appreciate it.

the sc300/400 are incredible cars. toyota spent 400 million on research and development for the sc line. my sc300 has over 180k miles, all original, and works great. hell, it was even in a flood, according to the title, but no problems. ive always had good experience for the most part with fords, and i had a nissan pathfinder that was as tough as nails...ive driven two toyota's and both died hard...likely wont go with toyota, but lexus is treatin me just fine. :) im quite pleased with my SC300 that i bought a few months ago. its got 262,000 miles on it has runs jus fine. and fyi toyota makes lexus man

im moving to laramie wyoming in march and was wondering if anyone knows if there are any lexus meets around the state.

well i have successfully diagnosed my problem. the corner light on the bottom of the front bumper ended up bein burnt out causing it to short and idle rough. replaced the bulb and she drives like new. the bulb number is 1156 if anyone was curious.

well the TPS sensor came in today. i put the new one on and unplugged the battery for 30 seconds. the spitting and sputtering problem that i had seems to have been resovled but when i was on the way to the gas station (which is only a couple miles down the road) i noticed that my gauges started to wig out when i turned my blinkers on. after fueling up it wouldnt crank and acted as if the battery was dead. so i tried jumping it off and wat do ya know it fired up but idled kinda rough. and now the radio doesnt do anything except the lights in it jus flash at me. thinking maybe a short in something somewhere. ill keep updating yall on how things go. any opinions would be helpful.

that would've been nice if you went the carpc route..having that in your car is just amazing! all the things you could do and more..plus having a total custom thing done..but yea..your setup sounds pretty nice. im still unsure whether ill go with the 2 amps 2channel and 4 channel, vs the single 5 channel amp to power my speakers and subs. you got some pix of your setup? id be interested to see how it all looks im very impressed by your install.........looks great!!!!

wouldnt by chance have or know where i can get the diagram for a 92 SC300 huh???

ive never taken the dash apart on a SC300. im trying to install a aftermarket radio but not sure on how to take the dash apart. i really dont want to break anything so any advice would be awesome. thanx

i was thinkin more along the lines it being the TPS (throttle position sensor) i ordered one today which cost me $89.99 from oriellys. it'll be here in the morning. ill keep ya informed on the situation.
