  1. Its going to the dealer tomorrow to figure out what code its throwing and from there I will make my decision to just have them fix it or to do it myself. I will probably opt for them to fix it because its cold here in Michigan and I need my traction control to work. Thanks for everyones input.
  2. So I did some searching on this forum and found a few answers. One being possibly the mass air flow sensor. What I am wondering is if anyone who has had this exact problem happen to them and they replaced the mass air flow sensor if that cured the problem. I am very handy when working on vehicles electrical systems so if anyone has any things to check or look for it would be greatly appreciated. Also how do I check for what code I am getting? Thanks in advance, Josh
  3. Thank you for your info! Just to be safe I will probably run new radio and cig lighter grounds down into the kick panel.
  4. Well I just did the install tonight, and it isnt complete. I am ordering a 7" wide screen monitor to flush mount in the dash below the radio. So right now there is a hole below the radio. I have/had the pioneer system so I dont know how different it would be with the nak system. Please forgive me I am new to the SC world and I dont know all of the options that were available for them.
  5. I might be beating a dead horse but I just bought my 92sc400 and I just installed my radio in the dash and it used a normal toyota radio harness. if I remember right its a 70-1764(I will have to double check) But its just a basic 89 and newer toyota harness that could be purchased at CC or BB. I also know how to make the factory sub work after installing a new head unit. If anyone is interested I can post some info. Just as an FYI I install audio/video/security products for a living. :)
  6. First off I would like to say thank you to whoever runs this forum. I am a memeber at RX7club.com also and I hope that this forum will help me as much as that one has. Anyways.......about the problem. I have a 92 SC400 it has just over 80k and every once and awhile when the I press the brake pedal the lights dim, and ocasionally the clock in the gauge cluster will reset. Also when the ABS system kicks in the lights will flicker with the anti lock system. I checked the battery connections and they are tight. The battery itself is around a year old. Minus a new stereo that I installed the car is stock. The problem occured before the stereo installation, just and FYI. I am very familiar with electronics in cars because I have been an installer for over 5 years now(I am only 23). To me the problem seems to lie in the brake system itself. I have not tested anything yet just because I dont drive the car very much and I spend alot of my time at work or working/modding my RX7. Mainly I am just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this problem or a similar problem. Since it is not consistent it is going to make it very hard to track down. Any help or words of advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Josh
