Hi All:
I took delivery of a new Lexus HS250 over the weekend. The vehicle has a separate bluetooth pairing processes for cell functions and music processes. The phone pairing worked great - the device was quickly discovered and I was immediately able to make calls - but audio process didn't work. The car would not discover the iPhone 3Gs when I attempted to pair it with the stereo system and I eventually had to cancel the process. Both the car and the phoen support A2DP (or something like that), so I assume it should work.
My dealer was of little assistance, and also discouraged use of the bluetooth audio integration (due to battery life concerns - which seems a bit strange). Any other Lexus owners get this feature to work?
As an added annoyance, the USB connector supports iPods, but not iPhones. Thus, I need the Bluetooth connection to work to get all my song library. I'd also be interested to know if there are any workarounds for the iPhone USB connection.
Thanks,
Raja
