  1. I am working on rebuilding a wrecked 1990 LS400 that was wrecked in the front LH corner. The problem that I am having is the relays behind the headlight on that side were distroyed. The vehicle will not run, and I am trying to figure if this has anything to do with it. The inst cluster is also missing, and will need to be replaced. Anyone have any idea what these relays do or are? Thank You, Rob
  2. When I got this car I noticed that a wiring harness at the front of the head on the drivers side near the fan belt had been rubbing on the belt. I tied it up out of the way and did not do anything else about it. I was wondering if this was the RPM sensor or something else. Thank You
  3. I have a 93 ls400 with a code for a RPM sensor . I think it is for the no.1 sensor. Does anyone know where these are? Is this what is causing my car to hesitate while I am driving it down the road? I have not pinpointed the RPM that this is happening. Any help or advice would be great. Thank You, Rob
  4. One word BIO HAZARD. Ok so it is two words. I would not touch them at all.
  5. I have a 95 with the same problem. How do I get in touch with Mikado? Phone number please I just got mine fixed by a place that I found on EBAY. They charged me $75 plus tax, and the best part is they were local. I took it to them and it was done the next day. They did a great job and it has a warranty. I would highly recomend them. I think they go by Auto Truck Electronics.
  6. I just bought a 93 LS400 with 331,000 miles on the odometer. Everything is wrong with the inst cluster, but for the price that I have in it I will be able to spend some money on it. On the way home the other day I had a hesitation while I was going down the highway. Anyone have any ideas on this? Even with over 300k on the odometer it has plenty of power, and drives good. There is a little smoke at startup, I am thinking valve seals. I will have to replace the seat covers also because they are splitting at the seams. Things will be slow and fun on this car since I am used to building rock crawlers. Yes, I Have a 93 extended cab Toyota that I drive and crawl with. Any advice on the car would be allot of help including the Caps that have to be replaced to fix the inst. cluster. Thank You, Rob
  7. I may have missed this over the last 15 pages, but does anyone know exactly what caps need to be replaced in the inst cluster for the fuel, tach, and the speedo? Thank You, Rob
