Hi all How can I remonve the metal ball socket of the old hood support from the mounting bracket (the one srewed to the chassis, see pict 1) and install the new one - a Stabilus Lift-O-Matgas charged lift suppot - part number SG229012 I bought last week (pic 2). The new one has came without the metal bracket and I am trying to re-use the one currently I can not disconnect from the old support rod. I found one topic on this (other model of Lexus) even with a one-page pdf from som repar manual (attahced pdf) but it did not talking about removing the metal ball from the mounting bracket. I want to buy http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/CT13530.html for trailer tow hitch and T-CONNECTOR KITS (http://www.jcwhitney.com/t-connector-kits/p2018063.jcwx?filterid=c2360d17135y2004j1&_requestid=18483244). Are these enough to make my rx330 ready to tow a trailer from say U-haul? Do I need to buy anythings else? Thanks in advance
