    I did not inherit the gs and i am not 20, i am well into my 30's . i am looking for mods that will improve mpg as well as better performance that are not too expensive. any sugestions?

    SK, u forget as the gs becomes cheaper and cheaper you will see it riced out more and more often with all these kids under 20 buying them or inheriting them

    Do you have a pic of the one you bought from ebay/ if so could you post it. did you find a clamp or anything to secure it better to stop the noise you were talking about?

    I have a 99 gs 300, im thinking of going with an aftermarket intake. can anyone help with this? i have seen some on ebay, some are reasonable $$ some are expensive. does anyone know if it is worth the $$. will it work? ie: better performance, mpg. thanks.

    I have a 99 gs 300, i am thinking about changing the air intake to an after market one. I found a few on ebay, some are reasonably priced some are very expensive. Does anyone have any insight on which to use, will they work? ie: better performance,better mpg thanks ..

    The best way to clean your engine is to do oil change every 500-1000 miles. just buy cheap oil and keep changing including filter and use MOTOR FLUSH, you get that from Auto Zone for like 6 bucks. Do it about 5-7 times or so. Your engine should be sparkling shiny after that. worked for me...coz i bought a 2003 nissan 350z from inurance auction and engine was full of sludge. Now the 350z runs like a Biiii@@tch!!!... clean too..
