TNTCASH Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 98 LS400 Turned off the car yesterday and the blower motor sounded like it wound down to a grinding halt. Fan wont run in heat or A/C mode. Where is it located and where can I get a replacement unit. Dealer wants $800 + for the change out! Ouch! Does anyone have any pictures or diagrams on where exactly this fan is? Are there any special tools needed, or do I just need basic screwdrivers

I would either try to find out if there is another Toyota product that uses it, or try a junk yard, I feel that you can use one from 1998-2000.
