SRK Posted October 23, 2005 Share Posted October 23, 2005 I agree fully. I have replaced the locks with Lexus standard nuts on the LS, as who is going to steal the 15 inch wheels anyways? I will soon do the same for the GS, but with 17's, well, I am more reluctant. My previous car, a 94 Camaro Z-28 ( much derisive laughter and shouting ensues) had wheel locks and I replaced them with regular ones. The GM parts guy questioned me about the sanity of it, and when I told him that those particular stock alloy wheels were worth about $40.00 used, he was more than surprised.
