Dealers trash Build Lexus
We live in SC and have been using the Lexus web site to Build a Lexus RX 350 H, which is built in Canada. Our dealers are saying it will take about 8 months for the car to be built and that we should instead buy from their inventory, except that they don’t have any RX 350 hybrids. I am willing to go to Canada to pick up the car, but does it really take 8 months?!
ES300 Malfunctioning Drivers Window
Dear Fellow Lexus Owners, I have an 01 Lexus ES300. The drivers side window is malfunctioning in the automatic mode after I had the window regulator replaced. When I click the window control for automatic closing, The window automatically closes and then comes back open, about 6 inches. I have to close the window a little at a time to fully close it. Does anyone else have this problem? What is the solution?
1992 LS400 - Cherry red exhaust - this may be the end for it
So I have to get your opinion on this. Took it to get gas yesterday but did not make it. would not accelerate past 25 mph with foot to the floor. turned around and took it home. Idle in neutral down to 500 rpm. Rev engine several times and it will go to 5k. Noticed smoke coming off the engine. turned off and looked under car. exhaust pipe on drivers side bright cherry red for about 2 feet starting at engine. Any thoughts? It has 2 coils, one for each side of the engine. I'm hoping it j
2002 LX470 screen
Hello- I've driven an LX470 2001 for years and love it, just upgraded to same rig, just a 2002 with fewer miles. I picked car up yesterday from the transport driver and front screen says: 'NO DISC DETECTED." It doesn't allow me to hit "I Agree" and move forward to any options. Has anyone else had this issue? Limp mode limp mode
I put this fuel injector cleaner in my car and it started to not run well and then I put some other stuff in it and clean it out a little bit and but my car went into limp mode it'll start run fine and then I'll get warmed up and won't go no more and I'll be in limp mode

Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
