oil change and plug replacement
My Lexus dealer says I need an oil change every 5 k miles and new plugs every 60 k miles . I thought 100,000 on plugs and 10,000 on synthetic oil , I only drive 6 k per year . Am I being screwed or am I wrong . Love to hear other opinions .
wheel touchup paint color codes
Does anyone know if Lexus publishes color codes for their rims. I have a 2017 RX with the silver and dark grey rims that need some touching up. If not, does anyone know what will come close to matching that is on the market in US.
Advanced Park Works Well EXCEPT In My Driveway
I love my 2025 Lexus NX 350h EXCEPT for one thing. Although Advanced Park works well in shopping centers or any place where white lines denote a parking space, Advanced Park can't detect my driveway as a parking space. Instead, it identifies the swale and wants to parallel park. Do I need to paint a white line in my driveway so Advanced Park works? Does anyone have a workaround?
Need help identifying (I believe) vac hoses
Hello everyone. I recently picked up a 2000 LS400. Smoothest and nicest ride I've had in some time. Had to fortune of changing the valve cover gaskets, nasty oil leak going on. Upon re-assembly I noticed, or created, a crack in 2 different hoses. 1 plugs into the intake manifold, the other plugs into an extension that goes over the manifold. I'm struggling to find part numbers, and/or what these hoses are called. Can any help me out or have any leads? The seal seems to be holding, but
05 Lexus RX 330 |Rear Hatch not closing
I'm sure this has been discussed. Can you tell me which post to find that discusses this? Replaced struts, opens fine but sporadically will not go down after down sound has indicated it is about to go down. Just moves a little down and then goes back up.

Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
