Some tips I found with the key fob
Some may already know these tips, this is on my 2021 Lexus ES350 and should work on others: 1) Came across a video that provided a tip on protecting the car from theft when say in a very busy parking lot, or in extended parking, or just wanting to save key fob battery use when the car is not in use for a spell. Also useful on a spare key fob to save battery life. When you leave the car and all doors closed press and hold the Lock Icon on the key fob, then press the Unlock Icon twice
2004 Lexus RX 330 not allowing me to control windows
I have a Lexus 2004 Lexus RX330 with about 73K miles. I just noticed recently I can't remotely open/close the passenger or back seat windows from the driver's window control. Any ideas?
Ran over dead deer going 55 mph
As the title says on my way to work this morning I ran over a deer carcus that I couldn't see bc the 18 wheelers in front of me just drove right over it. I was half a mile from work so when I stopped I checked the car and noticed no immediate issues. Fast forward hours later I'm driving home from dropping off my wife and my tire blows out on the highway that's when I noticed my rim got dented right below the hole in my tire. Just bought the wife a 2025 NX350H
We love the car. First Lexus. Wife took a few friends golfing this am. She came home and got a notification from the Lexus app to “ check the back seat”. What??? I opened the back door and found a tiny earring back on the back seat. How did it know that tiny thing was there. Crazy.
The external system is not connected check the connection
2005 GX470 with NAV when I try and turn on the AC or Heater, I get the following error message on the NAV screen "the external system is not connected check the connection of the air conditioner" the HVAC controls are also dark. So, I bought a used non-NAV controller of the appropriate model number for my year, unplugged from the HVAC computer (yellow box) at the passenger kick plate plugged into the Non-Nav. The non-Nav HVAC controller also does nothing. Any Ideas where to start. I ca
