2k470 Posted June 8, 2004 Share Posted June 8, 2004 I placed the V1 on the winshield, offset behind the rear view mirror on our 2000, on the passenger side so the rear reciever window has a clear view out the back window. I routed the cord along the winshield, hidden under the edge trimming, over to and down the driver's A-pillar, under the dash, and to the velcro-mounted remote unit right on top of the steering column (where it does block view of the cruise control indicator when iluminated, but I couldn't find a better location that gave easy mute access) and tapped into an accessory-hot wire under the dash.
