Soft beeping/tone from radio or touchscreen area

Hi all, I have a 2010 es350, it has recently started emitting a pattern of soft beeps from somewhere in the radio/touchscreen area (I think?) And for the life of me I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Old post, but maybe this will help someone else . . .

Had a similar beeping from the mid-center console area that would go on for about an hour, and then stop. No codes or any other indicators. 

Finally took it to a Lexus dealer. Turned out to be the EZ-Pass transponder with a failing battery that somehow caused the beeping through the car’s audio system. No kidding. Couldn’t believe it.
