vintagekart
My 2011 LS460 automatic mirror on the passenger side folds out 90 degrees beyond the proper setting when you start the car. Afterwords it will not fold back in unless you get out of the car and push it back into proper position manually. It does this regardless of the position of the folding mirror switch settings on the drivers side dash panel which I prefer in the off position at all times. Whether it's set to manual or automatic or the off position, the passenger mirror keeps moving out to the timbucktu position upon start up. I'm going to try resetting all of the memory positions with both of my key fobs to see if this resolves the problem. If not I'll be disabling the actuator motor that drives this stupid mirror folding feature. Any resolution suggestions would be appreciated. I'll be dammed if I will be buying a new mirror unit and installation to resolve this feature which I don't want anyway.
RonR303
I am having the same issue with my '15 RX350. Everytime I start the car, the driver's side mirror rotates all the way out. I would love to hear how to resolve this issue.
wes7004
I am now having the same issue after a car wash pushed my passenger mirror back because I forgot to fold them in. I pushed it back and it work for a while like normal. Now starting the car goes all the way past. Any fixes been found or do I need to replace parts in the mirror? Would love to find an easy fix.
