szerby Posted May 5, 2004 Share Posted May 5, 2004 My kids have destroyed one on the OEM Lexus IR headphones that came with the rear entertainment system. Lexus wanted $200+ for new ones. I found a pair of Audiovox headphones over the headend for $39.99 and decided to take a chance. They work great! My kids say they even have less static then the Lexus factory ones. I'm going back for a couple more just to keep them on the shelf for future replacements. They were next to the mobile video screens and DVD automotive kits. I'll see if I can post the model number. My guess is the IR receiver is an OEM chip that most IR headphones use anyways. Why reinvent IR audio transmission?
