When trying to program HomeLink, indicator light never changes from slow blink.

Having a 2008 suggests that you have a used car  .. that may have its Homelink buttons already programmed to another garage door system.

Thanks,I have seen this video and tried everything but,it seems nothing is going to work.No big thing I will use my remote,and enjoy everything else about the car.

If none of the Homelink suggestions work, it may well be that your garage door system just isn't compatible with Homelink.

Years ago I recall having a similar problem with an older garage door system and our Nissan at the time.
